Theodora College of Education, Theology & Management Science is a private institution in Kaduna State of Nigeria that specializes in offering Courses in Education, Theology/Religious Studies and Management Science, for the award of International Accredited Professional BSc, BA, MSc, MA and Diplomas.

TCETMS was incorporated by the Cooperate Affairs Commission of Nigeria in August 2018, and thereafter secured the recognition of the Universal Basic Education, followed by the accreditations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’ Ministry of Education (through the Kaduna State Ministry of Education for Higher Education), the US Association for Education, Theology and Management Professional Studies (USAETMPS), the International Federation of Private Universities, UK (IFPU), Msme Institute of Management and Professional Studies (MIMPS), the Association for Christian Higher Education and Theological Schools (ACHETS), and is currently in partnership with European American Education Group (a network of universities/institutions in Europe and America), and some other universities within and outside Nigeria, including some companies, such as Nordic Greens Employment Ltd of Denmark, Equal Employment Europe Ltd of Belgium, and Mafservice Global Resource Ltd of Nigeria.

Theodora College of Education, Theology & Management Science was founded by Prof. Richard O. William (a Fellow of Msme Institute of Management and Professional Studies). The College which started on the 24th of February 2018 with 7 students has now become a global community with students and graduates in different parts of the world.

This partnership is with a good number of Universities/Institutions in Europe and America, for prospects or students who wish to travel to America or Europe to study, or those who want to study online with American or European Universities/Institutions. The fee is charged by the awarding university/institution.

- Some Nigerian Universities:

TCETMS has some degree validation or shadow partnership with some universities, for the award of NUC Accredited BSc, MSc and PhD, including NYSC, from these universities. In other words, we do the admition and training, but their certificates and NYSC procession will come from the awarding University. The fee is charged by the awarding University.

BRIEF HISTORY

Theodora College of Education, Theology & Management Science first existed as “Triumphant Bible Institute” from July 2002 to December 2005, and had a change of name from “Triumphant Bible Institute” to “Theodora Bible School” after a vision in which the name “Theodora” was given to the Founding President in person of Richard O. William, in relation to Bible School. So, it further existed as “Theodora Bible School” from 2006 to 2017.

When it existed as Triumphant Bible Institute, it offered only “Certificate Program” in Church Ministry, and when it existed as Theodora Bible School, it offered only “Diploma Program” in Church Ministry. However, the school was not accredited, lacked a sound management team, operated as a part of Rich Global Guest Ministry Incorporated, does not charge school fees, and was not consistent in its operations during this period. And because of these factors, it could only graduate about 50 students, amongst whom, are the Pastors and staffs of Rich Global Guest Ministry Incorporated.

This was the condition of the school until late 2017, when God began to talk to the Founding President and General Overseer of Rich Global Guest Ministry Incorporated, in person of Richard O. William, about running the school as a full College with the capacity to offer baccalaureate or graduate programs in Educational, Theology and Management Science related courses. It was at this point, the founding Executive Director and President re-started or continued the school with the name “Theodora Bible College” on the 24th of February 2018 with 7 students. But the College was still operating as a part of Rich Global Guest Ministry Incorporated and was using the Ministry’s logo, even at this very time, until the Founding Executive Director and President discovered the following.

1. He discovered that some people do not relate to the College as a school that offers Educational and Management Science related courses, but as a school that offers only Theological Courses, because of the word “Bible,” which was part of its name.

2. He discovered that some people, who are Church denominational attached, may be scared of enrolling in the College if it continue to operate as a part of Rich Global Guest Ministry Incorporated.

3. He also discovered that the College will be properly managed toward the fulfillment of its objectives if it is separated from Rich Global Guest Ministry Incorporated, and made to operate on its own.

It was after these discoveries that Richard O. William decided to separate the College from RGGM and changed its name from “Theodora Bible College” to “Theodora College.” He also changed its logo into a logo that pictured “T” for “Theodora” as a “Cross,” and “C” for “College” at the feet of the cross, to indicate “College at the feet of the Cross.” And in addition, sought the incorporation of the College with the Cooperate Affairs Commission of Nigeria for accreditation, which was granted in the month of August 2018! And thereafter, improved on the logo of the College, to give it an academic outlook!

The College now operates as a legal institution of learning in Nigeria, by the authorization of Cooperate Affairs Commission; the recognition of Universal Basic Education (13th November 2018); and the accreditation of Kaduna State Ministry of Education (for Higher Education) (4th April 2019).

After the College had operated until 2021, the Executive Director and President, in person of Prof. Richard O. William, discovered that some people still think that the College offers only Theological courses, while others think that the College is a secondary school, probably because of its name. This led to a change of name by special resolution, dated 17th May 2021. The current name of the College is “Theodora College of Education, Theology and Management Science.” This name was approved and authorized by the Cooperate Affairs Commission; the Universal Basic Education; and the Kaduna State Ministry of Education (for Higher Education).

After the college was incorporated by the Cooperate Affairs Commission of Nigeria in August 2018, she went further to secure the accreditations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’ Ministry of Education (through the Kaduna State Ministry of Education for Higher Education), the US Association for Education, Theology and Management Professional Studies (USAETMPS), the International Federation of Private Universities, UK (IFPU), Msme Institute of Management and Professional Studies (MIMPS), the Association for Christian Higher Education and Theological Schools (ACHETS), and is currently in partnership with Royal Business College, UK, European American Education Group (a network of Universities/Institutions in Europe and America), and some other universities within and outside Nigeria.      

“Theodora” is a Greek word, which means “gift of God.” Since the name was given by God to the Founding Executive Director and President of the College, we understand that God want the College to be a medium through which He (God) will impart His gifts on people (students of the college) through the teaching of principles intended to raise righteous and wealthy leaders, who will shine fourth the light of God.
